REDEFINING A GENERATION WITH SSE AIRTRICITY.
When we started working with SSE Airtricity most energy suppliers in the market were pushing promotions or following a strategy focussed on dissuading churn. As Ireland’s largest supplier of green energy, SSE Airtricity could change the conversation and do something different, which is exactly what we did, and have been doing since 2018.
We created work that made people conscious of where they got their energy and showed them the cleaner choice, all in a positive, relatable way.
And it worked. It worked big time. The campaign bagged consecutive wins at the AIMs which was not only good for our egos but showed us our creative and strategy were right on point. And focus groups around our latest execution show that people are excited about the brand and using wind as a resource, particularly given the current energy cost spikes. 2021 also showed the highest recorded number of calls to the SSE Airtricity call centre as a direct result of brand and tactical DM campaigns. All of this, and of course, the knowledge that more energy in Ireland is being sourced from wind, so we can feel a little bit better about ourselves while watching David Attenborough.
